Pre-CanSkate
Pre-CanSkate is Skate Canada's learn to skate program for beginners. This program is for skaters aged 3-7 who have limited or no prior skating experience. Taught by professional coaches skaters will learn the basics of skating which includes
- falling down and standing up
- moving forwards and backwards
- variety of balances including jumping
Equipment Required
- Appropriately sized skates, we recommend a fitted skate such as a hockey or figure skate
- CSA approved hockey helmet, bike helmets will not be allowed on the ice
- Warm clothing - mittens or gloves, a jacket or long sleeve sweater and ski or water proof pant
