Hunter Prodaniuk
StarSkate Director
Hunter is a Regional Certified Coach and Provincially Trained Coach with extensive competitive and coaching experience. A former high-performance skater, she competed at two Skate Canada Challenge events, two Alberta Winter Games, five Sectional Championships, and the Senior Women's level. She was also a member of the Alberta Select Team and earned her Triple Gold Award.
Hunter has coached skaters of all ages and abilities since 2014, including in Sherwood Park, at Extreme Edge, and with the Fort Saskatchewan Skating Club since 2023. She is passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where skaters build strong technical skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of skating.

Carys Prodaniuk
Carys is a Regional Certified Coach with extensive competitive and coaching experience. A former high-performance athlete, she competed nationally three times, including at Skate Canada Challenge and the Canadian Tire National Skating Championships. She also represented her region at two Alberta Winter Games, qualified for eight Sectional Championships, was a longtime member of the Alberta Select Team, competed at the Senior Women's level, and earned her Triple Gold Award.
Since joining the Fort Saskatchewan Skating Club in 2022, Carys has coached skaters of all ages and abilities. As CanSkate Director for the past four years, she has helped rebuild and grow the club's Learn-to-Skate program, creating a fun, inclusive environment where skaters build confidence, strong fundamentals, and a lifelong love of skating.

Jane is a Regional Certified Coach and former competitive figure skater who trained at the Sherwood Park Figure Skating Club, competing to the Novice Women's level at the Alberta/Nunavut/Northwest Territories Sectional Championships. She is a Double Gold Test achiever in Dance and Freeskate.
Jane coaches skaters from their first steps to the provincial level, providing both on-ice and off-ice training, including harness instruction to safely develop advanced skills. With three years of coaching experience, she is passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where skaters can build confidence, develop strong technical skills, and achieve their goals.

Adrianna is a Regional Certified Coach and Triple Gold Award recipient in Artistic, Dance, and Skills. With 18 years of competitive dance experience in ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and tap, she brings a unique combination of technical expertise, artistry, and performance to her coaching.
Passionate about athlete development, Adrianna helps skaters build strong technical foundations while fostering confidence, creativity, and a love for performance. Her positive and supportive coaching style creates an environment where skaters are challenged, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Mikala is a highly accomplished coach and former competitive skater with extensive experience in both singles and ice dance. A Quad Gold Test achiever, she competed in singles to the Novice level before advancing to Senior ice dance, representing Alberta at the Challenge and Canadian Tire National Championships. She also competed at multiple Sectional Championships, Alberta Winter Games, and was a member of the Alberta Select Team.
Mikala currently coaches Provincial and National level athletes at the Ice Palace Figure Skating Club, focusing on technical development, performance, and competitive success. She has also been selected as a 2026 Alberta Winter Games Zone 5 Coach, recognizing her leadership and coaching expertise.
With her elite competitive background and passion for athlete development, Mikala is dedicated to creating a supportive, high-performance environment that helps skaters achieve their full potential.

Vanessa is an NCCP CanSkate Certified Coach and Regional Trained with over five years of coaching experience in Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate, and PowerSkate programs. She also served as a CanSkate Head Coach for two years in British Columbia, helping deliver quality skating programs.
With a skating background that includes STAR 3 Freeskate, STAR 6 Skills, and STAR 6 Dance tests, Vanessa is passionate about helping skaters build strong foundational skills in a fun, supportive, and encouraging environment. She is dedicated to developing confidence and fostering a lifelong love of skating.
